About

Hamid Saahir is an attorney barred in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Indiana. He is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law, where he served as president of the Student Bar Association. 

Caring for the concerns of his clients, Mr. Saahir does not simply want to win cases; he wants to provide his clients the justice they deserve. No matter the issue Mr. Saahir puts his best foot forward.

In addition to serving his clients, Mr. Saahir also served as a legal advisor for The Nation’s Mosque, Masjid Muhammad who has recently partnered with Banneker Ventures to build the Clara on Martin Luther King Avenue in Southeast DC. He was a consultant with WCP Communications where he helped with public relations on major civil right cases. He assists law firms with trial preparation on major personal injury cases ranging in the millions of dollars. 

Before the law, Mr. Saahir was a high school teacher in the District of Columbia Public School System, deputy director of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, a freelance graphic designer, a photographer, and owned and operated 4Cast Magazine. 

In his spare time, Mr. Saahir speaks to students to provide mentorship and academic advice. Recently, Mr. Saahir served as the Social Media Chair for the American Bar Association’s Litigation Section Family Law Committee, served as the past Vice-Chair of the Law Student Division of the National Bar Association, and is active in other bar associations and civic groups.
